be worth 50 points.  Write about an accident and how it

occurred.  (page 353, #7)   Write 10 sentences with at least 

8 words per sentence.   The essays should be typed and

Wednesday, April 22:

Students begin working on the ch. 10 project about an episode

of a cooking show to cook a recipe from a Spanish-speaking 

country.  Write the episode and record the episode using the 

grammar and vocabulary from this chapter.  This can be video or

slides presentation.  Tarea: ch. 10 assessment

Asssessments for each chapter.  If they do not turn them in,

Wednesday, April 1

Students write an essay based on chapter 9, page 285 #15,

using the conditional tense.   Write 8 sentences &

at least 7 words per sentence, discussing why you would never

live in the city or country.   This will eventually be typed and 

given an illustration, and turned in for points on Friday.

question with information from chapter 9:  Who are the gauchos?

One sentence in Spanish will be sufficient.

Hangouts, so you can get questions answered.

Students continue working in chapter 9, reading and reviewing the 

chapter, pages 270-275, including grammar on pages 270, 272 & 274.  

They should also & make sure that to download the files for chapter 9.   

The tarea is pages 99 & 100 in the workbook.  Students should use the

Answer Key to check their answers in the homework in the workbook.

This is also the final day to send the Extra Credit Message for 10 points.


Thursday, March 19:

Students begin working in chapter 9, including downloading the files from

MrsDelello.com website.  Students should read and review pages 262-269, 

including the vocabulary from Palabras 1 & 2.  Tarea:  pages 97 & 98 in the 

workbook.  Another assignment for today and tomorrow, is to send a message 

to me.  Turn it in under the Ch. 9  Powerschool activity called, "Extra Credit 

Message."  Everyone who sends me the message in Spanish in the correct 

format will receive 10 points of extra credit.  If Powerschool is not working be

sure to send me the message in an email. 




Wednesday, March 18:

Students turn in homework for points in the gradebook.

Answers to homework can be checked with the Answer

Key in the Powerschool page.   We will not be taking 

quizzes, but we will take the tests when we return from 

the break.  For extra practice, students can use Quizlet

and also Duolingo.  



Tuesday, March 17:

Students will continue to work on their ch. 8 projects about

a famous person or event.  These will be turned in by Mar. 25.

The final day for working on chapter 8, is tomorrow.   All the 

homework will be due & will be given points in the gradebook.

The test for chapter 8 will be given when we return to school.

Wednesday, August 28, 2019: 

Students will use their ipads to access 

PowerLearningApp-based online textbooks 

& other materials for Spanish 2 class.   They 

must bring their materials to class each day, 

and they must also be able to access my 

webpage.   Students should plan to study at 

least 20 minutes each evening for Spanish 

class, whether they have homework or not.   

They can study grammar & vocabulary, and they 

can also use my QUIZLET account for more practice.   

PowerLearning will be updated each day, and the

mrsdelello.com webpage will also reflect what is on 

PowerLearning.    Students should use the Spanish 2 files
